Randy Boelk was a member of UW-Stevens Point’s men’s swimming & diving team from 1998-2001 and was a 28-time All-American.  In 1998, he became the third individual in program history to claim a NCAA Division III championship, winning the 200-yard backstroke.  Boelk also secured the national title as a member of the 400-yard medley relay team in 1998 and 1999.

He was a 10-time WIAC individual event champion, including four straight first-place finishes in the 400-yard individual medley (1998-2001) – the first individual in league history to accomplish the feat.  He was also a member of 13 conference champion relays, including four consecutive 400-yard freestyle relay teams (1998-2001).  Boelk still holds three individual records and two relay records at UW-Stevens Point.

Boelk was inducted into the UW-Stevens Point Hall of Fame in 2009.  In 2012, he was named to the WIAC Men’s Swimming & Diving All-Time Team in conjunction with the conference’s Centennial Celebration.
Boelk earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration.  He resides in West St. Paul, Minn.
