Camille Ross was a member of the UW-Whitewater women’s track & field team from 1997-2000 and a 15-time NCAA qualifier and eight-time All-American.

In NCAA outdoor championships, she collected six All-America honors, including four individual and two relay. Her top individual performance was a second-place finish in the 100-meter dash in 1999 while adding a third-place finish in the 200-meter dash during the same meet. She also took third in the 100-meter dash in 2000 and was a member of the third-place 4x100-meter relay team in 1998. Ross helped UW-Whitewater to a fourth-place national outdoor finish in 2000 after placing sixth in 1999.

Ross secured two top-five finishes in the 55-meter dash at the NCAA indoor championship – fifth in 1998 and fourth in 2000.

Ross was a 12-time conference champion and received Outdoor Track Performer of the Meet honors in 1999 and 2000 to become the first individual in conference history to win the award in back-to-back years. In outdoor championships, she won the 100- and 200-meter dashes in 1999 and 2000, along with the long jump and sprint medley relay titles in 1999.

At the conference indoor championships, Ross was a three-time winner in both the 55-meter dash (1998, 1999, 2000) and 200-meter dash (1997, 1998, 1999).

Ross broke every indoor and outdoor sprint record of 200 meters and under at UW-Whitewater and in the conference.

In 2012, Ross was selected to the WIAC Women’s Track & Field All-Time Team in conjunction with the conference’s Centennial Celebration. She was inducted into the UW-Whitewater Athletics Hall of Fame in 2015.
Ross earned a bachelor’s degree in graphic art design from UW-Whitewater and master’s degree in athletic administration intercollegiate athletics from Mississippi College. She resides in Lafayette, Ind.
