Chelsea (Hoff) Endres was a member of the UW-La Crosse women’s swimming & diving team from 2008-10 and collected 18 All-America awards, including seven individual honors. She helped UW-La Crosse to three top-13 finishes at NCAA Division III championships.

At the 2008 NCAA Division III Championship, Endres placed second in the 100-yard backstroke and ninth in the 50-yard freestyle as UW-La Crosse finished 13th. In 2009, she was fifth in the 50-yard freestyle and sixth in the 100-yard backstroke to lead UW-La Crosse’s eighth-place finish. In 2010, Endres was second in the 100-yard backstroke, and fifth in both the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle as the Eagles placed seventh.

In conference championships, Endres secured nine individual titles and 11 relay crowns, and helped the Eagles claim conference titles in 2008 and 2009. She was tabbed the conference’s Swimmer of the Meet in 2008, 2009 and 2010 to become the first individual in conference history to receive the honor three consecutive years. Endres still holds seven program records and five conference marks – the 50-yard freestyle (23.10), 100-yard backstroke (55.56), 200-yard freestyle relay (1:33.47), 400-yard freestyle relay (3:26.80) and 200-yard medley relay (1:43.43).

She secured Academic All-America® Women’s At-Large First Team honors from the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) in 2009 and 2010. In 2010, Endres was selected the Academic All-America® of the Year by CoSIDA and received the conference’s Judy Kruckman Scholar-Athlete Award. She was one of 30 finalists from all divisions for the 2010 NCAA Woman of the Year and earned a NCAA Post Graduate Scholarship.

In 2012, Endres was selected to the WIAC Women’s Swimming & Diving All-Time Team in conjunction with the conference’s Centennial Celebration. She was inducted into the UW-La Crosse Wall of Fame in 2022.
Endres earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise sport science and PhD of physical therapy from UW-La Crosse. She resides in Verona, Wis., with her husband Casey. They have two daughters Skylar and Avery.
