Martha Stephens served as UW-La Crosse’s women’s badminton coach from 1968-79 and women’s tennis coach from 1968-76. Neither of her teams ever lost a conference championship during her tenure as coach.

Stephens was inducted into the UW-La Crosse Wall of Fame in 1985. In 2012, she was selected the WIAC Women’s Badminton All-Time Coach in conjunction with the conference’s Centennial Celebration.
