Steinhagen claimed conference Player of the Year distinction in 2006 and 2007, and was an all-conference first team and all-defensive team selection in each of her three seasons. The Blue Devils won or shared the conference title all three years and her .589 career field goal percentage ranks second in conference history, while her 258 blocked shots are third. She also compiled 1,413 points and 750 rebounds. The 1,413 points are third on UW-Stout’s all-time list. Steinhagen secured a spot on the D3hoops.com All-Decade Team representing the 2000-09 seasons. In 2017, she was inducted into the UW-Stout Hall of Fame. In 2012, Steinhagen was selected to the WIAC Women’s Basketball All-Time Team in conjunction with the conference’s Centennial Celebration. Steinhagen earned a bachelor’s degree in apparel design and development. She resides in Minneapolis, Minn., with her husband Chet.
