Shone led a Warhawk defense that allowed just three goals in four matches during the week. He played every minute of UW-Whitewater’s first three matches and 29 in the final match to total 305 minutes for the week. In a 1-0 loss to Lake Forest College (Ill.), Shone was assigned the task of marking the Foresters’ top goal scorer and held him scoreless. In a 3-1 win over Ripon College, Shone scored the first goal of the match. The Warhawks went 3-1 during the week to improve to 12-3-0 on the season.
