Despite an average putting weekend, McNett-Emmerich managed to shoot a four-over 150 in winning the UW-Stevens Point Mad Dawg Invitational by nine strokes, Sept. 28-29 at the Stevens Point Country Club. Despite rain and 30 mile-per-hour wind gusts on Sept. 28, McNett-Emmerich hit a one-over 74, the best single round score of the tournament, then came back with a 76 on the final day. UW-Stout won the 11-team tournament by 36 strokes, shooting single round scores (316-322) that were among the lowest five scores in school history.
