Vinokur had a good week throwing for the Yellowjackets as she continues to climb the WIAC and NCAA rankings. At the Hamline University (Minn.) Twilight on April 24, Vinokur placed third in the discus with a toss of 147-1 (44.83m), which helped her move into the top 10 nationally. She also had a fifth-place finish in the shot put with a mark of 41-1 1/2 (12.53m). At the Saint Mary’s University (Minn.) Open on April 27, Vinokur set a school record and brought home first place in the shot put with a mark of 42-9 (13.03m). She placed fifth in the discus with a mark of 130-5 (39.75m) and placed ninth in the hammer throw, hitting a mark of 150-7 (45.89m). Vinokur is now ranked sixth nationally in the discus, 26th in the shot put and 36th in the hammer.
