Thompson placed atop the field in three events in UW-Whitewater's record breaking win over UW-Oshkosh on Jan. 26. Her 9.7 led the Warhawks to a new school record for team score on the uneven bars. Thompson's vault routine also scored the highest in the meet, 9.55. She added the all-around title with a total of 38.30 after finishing third on the balance beam (9.5) and sixth on the floor exercise (9.55).
