Prior to UW-Platteville's homecoming game against No. 17-ranked UW-Eau Claire, Vlasak had exactly one career carry. He moved from receiver to running back during the week and set a Pioneer record with five rushing touchdowns in UW-Platteville's 35-14 win. He became just the sixth player in WIAC history to score that many touchdowns on the ground (UW-Eau Claire's Cory Sartorelli holds the conference mark with six.). Vlasak ran for three touchdowns of one yard each and two of two yards. He ran 33 times for 114 rushing yards and caught four passes for 91 more. He scored four times in the first half alone.
