Zimmerman was one of the team’s defensive leaders in a 24-14 win at UW-Stout on Oct. 27. He led the Falcons with six solo and eight total tackles. He also recorded one sack for a loss of six yards and had another tackle for a loss of one yard. Zimmerman led the Falcons with three pass break ups and grabbed the game’s only interception. The interception came on UW-Stout’s first offensive play of the game and gave the Falcon offense the ball at the UW-River Falls 40.
