In a 5-1 win over UW-Oshkosh on Oct. 17, Tooren scored twice. She scored the game-winning goal at 44:56, then added an unassisted goal at 58:18 to give UW-W a 3-1 lead. Tooren led the UW-Whitewater attack to 30 shots, including 14 on goal. The Warhawks clinched a tie for the WIAC title with the victory. In a 4-0 win over UW-Stevens Point on Oct. 20 that clinched the outright conference championship, she assisted on the third and fourth goals. With the two goals and two assists during the week, Tooren moved into third place on the school career goals list (35) and career points chart (92).
