In a 31-14 win over UW-Stevens Point on Oct. 6, Naatz finished with 10 tackles, including six solo, and was in on one sack, but it was his first collegiate interception that sealed the win for the Blue Devils. After a UW-Stout punt pinned UW-Stevens Point on their own 5, with UW-Stout leading 24-14 with 8 minutes left in the game, Naatz stepped in front a pass at the Pointer 20 and returned it 14 yards to the 6. Two plays, the Blue Devils put up the final points of the game.
