Lihrman recorded the top hammer throw distance in NCAA Division III when he threw 203-4 (61.99m ) at the Phil Esten Challenge on April 20, then won the hammer event the next day at the Winona State (Minn.) Warrior Invitational with a toss of 199-8 (60.87m). Lihrman was second in the discus at the Warrior Invitational with a mark of 142-9 (43.52m). Lihrman had a mark of 141-6 (43.13m) in the discus at the Esten Challenge. The 203-4 hammer mark is a school record, topping the mark of 201-3 set by Sean Larson in 2010.
