Cazzola set school and facility records with her first-place performance in the 800-meter run at the UW-Whitewater Quadrangular held Feb. 10. She defeated 16 other contestants in the 800-meter run with her time of 2:09.80. Cazzola’s effort broke a UW-Oshkosh record that was set in 2004 by Liz (Woodworth) Kujawa. Amanda Brom of UW-Whitewater placed second in the event with a time of 2:20.71. Cazzola also ran on UW-Oshkosh’s first-place 1,600-meter relay team that posted a time of 4:05.20. UW-Oshkosh won the four-team meet with 210 points, while UW-Whitewater finished second with 145 points, UW-La Crosse third with 121 and UW-Stevens Point fourth with 104.
