For the second time this year, Aalfs came through in the clutch, hitting a last second shot to propel the Yellowjackets to victory. On Saturday afternoon, Aalfs hit a three-pointer with 1.1 seconds remaining on the clock, leading the Yellowjackets to a 60-58 win over No. 4-ranked UW-Whitewater at Mertz Mortorelli Gym. Aalfs had 18 points in the game to lead the Yellowjackets. Earlier in the week, he scored seven points, five of them in the second half as the Yellowjackets had the lead at No. 25-ranked UW-River Falls, but lost 58-57 on a last-second shot. For the week, Aalfs scored 25 points to go along with 10 rebounds, six assists, two steals and one blocked shot.
