DeZiel took a pair of first-place finishes during the week in the all-around as UW-Stout defeated UW-Eau Claire in a dual meet on Jan. 31, and finished third at the Gershon/McClellan Invitational on Feb. 3. In the Eau Claire meet, DeZiel took top honors on the uneven bars with a personal best score of 9.45, tied for first on the floor exercise with a score of 9.375, and took top honors in the all-around, hitting a personal best of 37.325. DeZiel was second on the balance beam (9.20). At the Gershon/McClellan Invite, DeZiel helped her team to a third-place finish by scoring a 37.10 in the all-around, the second time this year she has topped 37 points and the third time in her career. DeZiel was second on the uneven bars (9.35), fourth on the vault (9.375), ninth on the balance beam (9.225) and third on the floor exercise (9.15).
