Opsahl placed first on the balance beam at the John Zuerlein Invitational hosted by UW-Stout on Jan. 27, scoring a 9.55. She also scored 9.40 on floor exercise and 9.125 on vault. This was one of the best performances of Opsahl’s college career. The Gusties finished third in the four-team event.
