Cazzola won the mile run as UW-Oshkosh beat Lawrence University and Ripon College on Jan. 27 in Oshkosh. Cazzola took first place among five contestants in the mile run with a time of 4:52.77. Her performance is the fastest in the NCAA Division III this season. Michelle Matter of Ripon finished second with a time of 5:2416. Cazzola also ran on UW-Oshkosh’s first-place 1,600-meter relay team that posted a time of 4:06.17. The Titans took first place in 13 events and won the UW-Oshkosh Open with 89.5 points. Ripon finished second with 36 points and Lawrence third with 24.5.
