Shandley was involved in seven top-three finishes as UW-Oshkosh dropped results of 209-50 to NCAA Division II Northern Michigan University on Jan. 7 in Oshkosh and 146-89 to UW-La Crosse on Jan. 14 in La Crosse. Against Northern Michigan University, Shandley earned second place in both the 100- and 200-yard freestyle races with times of 56.79 and 2:00.46, respectively. She then placed third in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 26.37. In the relays, Shandley swam on UW-Oshkosh's 200-yard freestyle quartet that posted a third-place time of 1:46.33. Against UW-La Crosse, Shandley took first place in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 55.03 seconds and the 200-yard freestyle with a performance of 1:59.59. She also posted a third-place time of 1:58.49 in the 200-yard medley relay.
