Yewah went 4-0 at the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA)/Cliff Keen Duals Jan. 7-8 in Springfield, Ill. He defeated Christopher Parker of Centenary College (N.J.) by technical fall (16-0) and ninth-ranked Josh Malave of University of Mount Union (Ohio) by technical fall (25-7) Jan. 7. Yewah, ranked first in NCAA Division III, defeated Michael Kramer of Wartburg College (Iowa) by decision (10-4) and third-ranked Seth Ecker of Ithaca College (N.Y.) by decision (5-3) Jan. 7. Yewah, 21-2 on the season, placed fifth at 141 pounds at the Midlands Wrestling Championships Dec. 29-30. He went 5-2 in the meet, including wins over wrestlers from Eastern Michigan, Virginia Tech, Lehigh, Rutgers and Iowa State. Yewah lost to the eventual champion from Oklahoma and the third-place finisher from Princeton.
