Malliaras played well for UW-River Falls in two non-conference games during the week. The Falcons won both games, 3-0, at St. John’s University (Minn.) on Friday and 3-1 at Concordia College-Moorhead (Minn.) on Saturday. He scored one goal and had two assists. In Friday’s win, he picked up his 10th and 11th assists of the year on the team’s first two goals of the game. On Saturday, Malliaras scored the first goal of the game at 4:58 of the second period. The power-play goal was his first collegiate goal.
