Engelland, a three-time qualifier for the NCAA Division III Championship, went unbeaten in four contests to win the 184-pound weight class at the Pointer Open on Nov. 5 in Stevens Point. Engelland pinned Joshua Willaert of St. John's University (Minn.) in 3:57 to take the first-place match. He advanced to the final by pinning David Shields of UW-Whitewater in 1:18 and ousting Dan Diebitz of UW-Stevens Point, 11-3, and Mitchell Hagen of St. John's University, 3-1.
