Coppage rushed for a season high 245 yards on 29 carries and three touchdowns in the Warhawks’ 31-16 victory over UW-Stevens Point at Perkins Stadium. He has rushed for 1,101 yards this season, the first back in UW-Whitewater and WIAC history to rush for 1,000 yards all four years of his career. He also broke former Warhawk Justin Beaver’s record for the school and WIAC career rushing mark, now with 6,776 yards. Coppage also moved to third on the NCAA Division III career rushing list. The game marked the sixth time in his career that he has rushed for 200-plus yards, with the most recent being the 2010 Stagg Bowl.
