Petermann was named the Most Outstanding Player as UW-Oshkosh captured first place in its own nine-team invitational held Sept. 16-17. UW-Oshkosh went unbeaten in four matches to improve its record to 8-6 on the season. The Titans defeated Concordia University (Wis.) (3-1) and Carroll University (Wis.) (3-0) on Sept. 16 and UW-Eau Claire (3-1) and Elmhurst College (Ill.) (3-1) on Sept. 17. Petermann hit .255 in the four contests with 43 kills, 57 digs, six blocks and five service aces. She ranked second on the team in kills and digs. In UW-Oshkosh’s win over Concordia University Wisconsin, Petermann hit .500 with 13 digs and 11 kills. She then tallied seven digs and three kills in the Titans’ victory over Carroll University. In UW-Oshkosh’s triumph over UW-Eau Claire, Petermann hit .323 with 21 digs, 13 kills and three service aces. She then recorded 16 kills and 16 digs in the Titans’ win over Elmhurst College.
