Bayliss started her Warhawk career by going 5-0 in her singles matches in just over a 24-hour span. On Sept. 3, she beat Gretchen Bachmeier of UW-Eau Claire 6-1, 6-0 at the No. 3 spot. She then moved up to No. 2 against Concordia University (Wis.) and took out Megan Harrington 6-3, 6-0. On Sept. 4, Bayliss played in the No. 2 singles flight and helped the Warhawks take first place in the event by winning her three matches and the championship at her flight. She beat Sarah Sodemann of Carthage College (Wis.) 6-0, 6-0; Clothilde Thirouin of Grinnell College (Iowa) 6-1, 6-2; and Cassie Devore of Illinois Wesleyan 6-4, 6-1 in the final.
