Ozanich won two events and placed fifth in another as the Titans captured the team title at the UW-Oshkosh Invitational April 22. Ozanich took first place in both the shot put and hammer throw events with distances of 43-10 (13.36 meters) and 187-4 (57.11 meters), respectively. She surpassed the automatic qualifying standard for the NCAA Division III Championship in the hammer throw and the provisional qualifying mark in the shot put. Mindy Harrington of Carthage College placed second in the shot put with a toss of 43-8 (13.31 meters), while Sue Trzebiatowski of UW-Oshkosh ranked second in the hammer throw with a cast of 174-6 (53.19 meters). Ozanich also placed fifth in the discus with a measurement of 129-10 (39.58 meters). Unattached Ellie Sitek took the event with a mark of 166-0 (50.59 meters). UW-Oshkosh won the seven-team meet with 245.33 points. UW-Stevens Point finished second with 114.66 and Carthage College third with 78.
