Martin had a big offensive week at the plate for the Yellowjackets. On March 22, she went 1-1 with a walk and a stolen base in a 2-0 loss to Buena Vista University (Iowa). Later in the day, she went 3-3 with a walk and a run scored in a 4-1 win over Tufts University (Mass.). On March 23, she was 2-3 with a run scored in a 5-2 win over Benedictine University (Ill.). In the second game of the day, she was 2-3 with two runs scored and two RBI in a 6-3 win over Plymouth State University (N.H.). She also had a sacrifice fly and two stolen bases in the game. On March 25, she was 2-4 in a 6-5 loss to Plymouth State. She went 0-4 with a run scored in the second game, a 6-3 win over Manchester College (Ind.). On March 26, Martin was 4-5 with two triples, two runs scored and two RBI in a 10-6 win over Tufts. She also had two stolen bases in the game. In the nightcap, she was 1-3 with a run and an RBI in a 5-1 win over Cornell College (Iowa). She had a double and a stolen base in that game. For the week, Martin batted .577 (15-26) with a double, two triples and five RBI. She scored three runs, had three walks, a sacrifice fly and six stolen bases in helping the Yellowjackets go 6-2 on the week.
