Lewan helped lead the Falcons to two road during the weekend. He made 32 saves in the team’s 1-0 overtime win at No. 15-ranked UW-Superior Jan. 28. UW-Superior leads the WIAC and the loss was just their third in conference play this year. The Falcons got the game-winner with just seven seconds to play in the extra session. Lewan made 15 saves in a busy third period and had four stops in the overtime to pick up his second shutout of the year. He stopped 28 of 31 shots in the team’s 5-3 win at College of St. Scholastica (Minn.) Jan. 29. All three goals Lewan allowed were on the opponents’ power play.
