Cazzola won a pair of events while competing in a dual meet against the University of Chicago (Ill.) Jan. 15 and an invitational hosted by North Central College (Ill.) Jan. 21. In UW-Oshkosh’s 82-79 victory over the University of Chicago, Cazzola ran to a first-place time of 5:03.99 in the one-mile run. Her performance defeated nine other participants and surpassed the provisional qualifying standard for the NCAA Division III Championship. She also helped the Titans’ 1,600-meter relay team register a winning time of 4:03.23. The UW-Oshkosh quartet won the event by 13 seconds. Competing at the North Central College Cardinal Opener, Cazzola helped UW-Oshkosh to a first-place finish in the team standings by winning the 800-meter run and participating on the Titans’ first-place 1,600-meter relay squad. Cazzola ran to a winning time of 2:12.53 in the 800-meter run. Her effort defeated 23 competitors and surpassed the automatic qualifying standard for the NCAA Division Championship. Cazzola was also a member of UW-Oshkosh’s winning 1,600-meter relay team. The group posted a first-place time of 4:03.85. UW-Oshkosh won the six-team North Central College Cardinal Opener with 163.5 points. North Central College finished second with 131 points and Emory University (Ga.) third with 87.
