Within seconds after UW-Stout had killed a 5-on-3 power play, Haider came on and scored what would eventually be the game-winning goal in a 6-1 decision over Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.), Jan. 8. Haider, who was injured for much of the first semester, scored his first goal of the evening, and his collegiate career, with four seconds left in the period to give UW-Stout a 2-0 lead over the Gusties. Haider added his second goal of the evening at the 2:25 mark of the second period to give the Blue Devils a 3-0 lead. Less than three minutes later, Haider had a hand in UW-Stout’s fourth goal of the night, assisting Charles Lachance. In a weekend that had UW-Stout tally 10 goals in two games (the Blue Devils defeated Augsburg College (Minn.), 4-2, Jan. 7), nine different players scored goals.
