Smith played a huge role in the Yellowjackets going 3-0 to start the season last week. He led the Yellowjackets in scoring and rebounding, scoring 27 points and hauling in nine rebounds in a 75-73 win at University of Dubuque (Iowa). He shot 10-of-14 from the floor, including 2-of-4 from three-point range, while playing a team-leading 32 minutes. On Nov. 19 against Macalester College (Minn.), a game the Yellowjackets won 77-58, Smith had 14 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. He shot 6-of-9 from the field and led the team with 31 minutes played. On Nov. 20, Smith played 34 minutes, scoring 19 points and pulling down seven rebounds in a 71-68 win over Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.). For the week, Smith shot 24-of-39 (61.5 percent) from the field, 5-of-10 (50.0 percent) from three-point range and 7-of-9 (77.8 percent) from the free throw line. He had 27 rebounds, seven assists, three steals and two blocks.
