Returning to the Titans after a year absence, Cazzola ran to a second-place finish at the Midwest Open held Sept. 11 in Kenosha. Cazzola completed the 5,000-meter course in a time of 18:07. A total of 96 runners finished the race, with Elise Sigg of NCAA Division I UW-Milwaukee posting a winning time of 17:49. Anna Weber, running unattached, placed third with a time of 18:21. UW-Oshkosh won the nine-team meet with 26 points, while NCAA Division II UW-Parkside finished second with 51, NCAA Division I Loyola University (Ill.) third with 80 and UW-Milwaukee fourth with 85.
